The following is a summary of the enhancements in NRD Release 1.8. The attached document has been prepared by OSC staff, and has been offered for distribution to all NRD users. It includes more details on the use of the enhancements including screen shots.
Address for Service
A new section will be added to firm information that allows Regulators from each jurisdiction to record an address and agent for service. Applicants may select the firm’s address and agent for service from a search page when filing an initial type or change address for service submission; this will link the individual to the firm’s address for service. Thereafter, any updates made to the firm’s address for service will automatically update the record of individuals linked to that address through this new feature.
Location NRD Number
The location NRD number will be displayed in the location address change submission.
Correct Termination Information
A new submission type – Correct Termination Information – will be added to NRD which allows firms to make corrections to previously approved termination information.
